Working or studying abroad for a few months is exciting but it often lacks the cozy feeling of home. Living in a hotel feels somewhat anonymous, Airbnb listings often don’t live up to their descriptions and images. A homey feeling and well-spent time are the main emphases of the new Novotel Living apartment hotel set to open next year near Tallinn’s port.

A co-living community away from home

Living abroad for several months is not easy – you are missing familiar faces and community, making it hard to blend in. Novotel Living destination hotel addresses this with its philosophy of connecting with people and also with oneself. It provides consistent hotel-quality service while focusing on a fulfilling living experience – making every day moments matter. Standing by its’ brand tagline: “Your Time, Your Way”, Novotel Living is giving back time, thanks to slick service and great opportunities to unwind or bond. The setting offers a cozier, homelike feeling with more permanent neighbors with whom one can make acquaintances over lunch and engage in exciting activities together.

The larger hotel rooms at Novotel Living, designed for longer stays, resemble stylishly designed apartments. They often feature a separate bedroom to accommodate the entire family. The rooms include a proper kitchen for cooking homemade meals.

Socializing takes place in public communal areas and a gym, while work can be done in special meeting rooms. The building also includes a washing machine and a dryer. All this to make life abroad as enjoyable as possible.

Estmak Capital’s CEO, Tatjana Arhipova, expressed great pleasure over the arrival of the home-like apartment hotel in Estonia. “We are delighted to offer something quite different to visitors of Tallinn. At Estmak Capital we’re always in favor of new and interesting developments. We truly believe that a new homely hotel encourages people who have not previously spent much time in Tallinn to consider living here for a while,” Arhipova said.

Unique experiences from Singapore to Batumi

Novotel Living apartment hotels worldwide embrace the best of local cultural uniqueness without being overwhelming. In the end the idea is to create a uniformly cozy atmosphere for people from all over the world.

For instance, residents at Novotel Living in Singapore enjoy not only a pool and private communal area but also a chance to barbecue. In Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh hotel, a kitchenette in each room and specially designed comfortable beds create a home-like feel, complemented by a 24/7 gym and sauna. Notably family-friendly, Novotel Living in Bangkok delights children (and the young at heart) with a slide leading into the pool, a stylish spa and a fun-filled playroom.

In the coming years, a luxurious Novotel Living will also open in downtown Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the aim of making life more homely for guests and investors staying in the country longer. Soon an apartment hotel with numerous communal areas and a cozy atmosphere will also be completed in Batumi, Georgia. Its main attractions include a private beach on the Black Sea, a heated rooftop pool and several children’s areas.

New opportunities for temporary living in Tallinn

“Everyone is welcome – business travelers, families and Erasmus students who do not want to stay in a regular hotel, Airbnb or dormitory,” Margus Simson, Estmak Capital’s construction manager, listed potential long-term guests of the innovative hotel.

Simson also highlighted the new hotel’s benefits for all parties involved. “Guaranteed service quality, stylish and clean, yet homely apartments. Stay a month or half a year – such a package has not been available in Tallinn before. By staying here, guests also significantly contribute to the economy of Tallinn and Estonia,” he added.

The hotel will feature 130 rooms, many of which are kitchen-equipped studio apartments designed for long-term stays. Several open-plan rooms include complete kitchenettes, spacious wardrobes and other amenities to make residents feel at home every day.

The 6-story building fits well into the surroundings. The residences start from the first floor, which also houses a quiet work area and a cozy courtyard. The building also has a gym and underground parking.

Commercial spaces available on tourist routes

The unique apartment hotel is set to be completed by 2025 on Poordi street, just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town. The construction contract has been signed with the company NOBE.

On the ground floor of the hotel, centrally located on tourist traffic routes, commercial spaces are planned next to the restaurant and relaxation area. Some of the spaces have already been booked, but few ones with attractive display windows are still available. For interest and inquiries, contact [email protected]
